College Football Heisman Candidates

As the NCAA College Football gets in full swing, college campuses nationwide are filled with the buzz that could win the Heisman Trophy this year. Honoring the best college football player each year, the prize went to the second quarterback Tim Tebow Florida last year. While Tebow returns to lead the Gators, there are a number of other contenders for the trophy this year.


Coming out of (apparently) no part last year, the Missouri Tigers climbed to the top of the Big 12 pack, winning a number one ranking until their defeat in the Conference Championship game to perennial power of Oklahoma.Led by two contenders for Heisman, senior quarterback Chase Daniel and true second receiver Jeremy Maclin.Con a rating of top 10 and success from the beginning of season, if this tigers go all the way, then any of these players are able to bring home the hardware.


While the Heisman Trophy winners generally play for national teams contender, a number of impressive players who play on good teams, but not grandes.South Florida Quarterback Matt Grothe is an exceptional athlete as a running back for Boise State Ian Johnson, who could run for more than 7,000 yards in his college career.


There are a number of competitive class this year, field marshal Sin ranging from the impressive freshman starter Mark Sanchez, Texas Colt McCoy, efficient pin Todd Reesing Kansas and the Ryan Perrilloux talented LSU USC.


Texas Tech also included two top-level Heisman candidates in quarterback Graham Harrell and wide receiver Michael Crabtree, who caught 21 touchdowns year pasado.Mientras Tech is a competitive Conference, Harrell and Crabtree combination could propel them to the next level this season.


Among the top running backs, Chris "Beanie" wells leads runner-up Ohio State last year, where he rushed for over 1,500 yards and PJ Hill of Wisconsin will be for sale in a competitive season for the Badgers.Texas running back Jamaal Charles is one of the fastest players in college football and should put some impressive numbers this season.


The East Heisman competition year boasts one of the most talented classes in recent history, and should make for a thrilling game of year in the BCS.
